You’ve chosen to elope on the southern Oregon Coast and are planning all the details. The dress, flowers, cake, dinner, it’s a whirlwind, am I right? You don’t want a generic highway 101 motel, trust me! The stay in some ways, will make or break the elopement day itself. After an incredible day frolicking through the waves and exchanging vows under coastal redwoods, you know you don’t want to come back to a dingy motel with a view of a strip mall and an ice machine rattling in the hallway.
Your stay matters almost as much as the ceremony location and I want to help you plan an unforgettable Oregon Coast Elopement. I’m Kim! As a local elopement photographer and guide, I help couples plan intentional, intimate experiences beyond the typical beach spots. I know the tides, weather, hidden locations, and trusted vendors, so you don’t have to stress. Want help planning? Check out the Oregon Coast Elopement Packages
Here are a few spots I think you’ll love!
Wild Spring Guest Habitat

If your vibe is “private luxury retreat where we drink wine in robes after running around on sea cliffs,” this is it. Tucked into the forest near Port Orford, the cabins are modern, quiet, and ridiculously photogenic without trying too hard.
If you want privacy, intentionally slow mornings with moody coastal fog in the background, you’ll want this lodge that feels like a Scandinavian wellness retreat. This stay is perfect for an elopement. It’s private and secluded, but still very close to the coast. I would stay here if planning an elopement at Agate Beach or Paradise Point.
Crook Point

Crook Point is basically the Southern Oregon Coast elopement icon, located in Pistol River near Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor. Private oceanfront cliffs, cabins, beaches, forests, and enough scenery that you never really need to leave the property.
Crook Point is perfect for couples who want guests to have an exclusive experience without having to travel to different locations. Even though, this spot is gorgeous and all your needs are literally caters to, I always take couples along the Samuel H. Boardman Corridor to some secret spots.
For the ideal secluded experience, you’ll want a weekday elopement because the word is out on this place! It’s become a well known and well-loved spot because of its luxury meets adventure vibe. You can have a multi-day experience with guests and get top-tier customer service all in one.
P.S. You can also bring your dog here!
Laurel & Rogue

Gold Beach is wildly underrated and one of the southern coast’s best kept secrets. This cabin sits on the Rogue river and it’s amazing! I know, because I’ve stayed here recently and honestly, I didn’t want to leave! Modern luxury meets wild nature in this 3-story riverside haven. Ferns, moss, tall trees, and sounds of the river surround this epic stay.
This spot is perfect for couples who want comfort and aesthetics. Each space is beautifully designed to bring out the PNW vibe in a romantic kinda way. There’s a hot tub, wrap around porch, and fire pit with views of the river. Also, if you’re a coffee lover (and who in the Pacific Northwest isn’t) you’ll love their coffee station with a french press, Chemex, drip machine, and electric or hand grinder for beans to start every day right!
The Point

The Point is in Port Orford and has it’s own private beach access! I love this spot because you can actually exchange your vows in the backyard. If you’re not interested in a busy, packed schedule experience, this is your spot.
Here is where you get those most amazing OMG views of the ocean and beach and…possibly the world. This spot sits 100 feet above sea level with beachfront access . You can literally drink your coffee on the deck that sits on a cliff. This is the perfect spot for a private vow exchange and then a curated meal prepared by a private chef.
This space is perfect for couples who want that secluded experience with constant 180 degree views of Battle Rock and Hubbard Beach.
Two Capes Lookout

For couples who want something less polished and more adventurous, glamping at is a better fit. Two Capes Lookout is a 5 minute drive from Pacific City. Two Capes Lookout feels intimate and cinematic without the hefty price of other spots.
And honestly? Some couples are happier making coffee outside in a hoodie overlooking the ocean than staying in a five-star resort. Sleep in a geodesic dome or a mirrored cabin, make your coffee over a fire, and wander though the Sitka Spruce trees as you sip your brew.
That’s the real secret to Oregon Coast elopements: the experience matters more than the production.
I help all of my couples plan their Oregon coast elopement and choose lodging that actually adds to the experience, instead of just giving you a place to sleep. Your stay becomes part of the story: the slow coffee mornings, the rainy ocean views, the hot tub after hiking all day, the getting ready photos, the late-night takeout in sweats after your ceremony.
I don’t skip over the lodging portion of planning because the right space completely changes how your elopement feels. Whether you want a luxury oceanfront retreat, a cozy cabin hidden in the trees, or a funky coastal motel with personality, I help you find places that align with your vibe and look as perfect as your lovet. Your elopement deserves to feel effortless and deeply personal. I’m here to guide you through it all while capturing it in a way that feels true to your story. Oregon Coast Elopement Packages
